In January 2026, this was the scene as I looked out our front window of our home after a six-inch snow storm rolled through Manhattan. Before the plows come, before the street lights dim, and before the neighborhood wakes up, the silence and beauty of a white landscape make the neighbor’s home across the street shine like a castle. This work is the result of an image that reminds me of the beauty of having a warm, welcoming sanctuary to be in after the storm.
