Here is #14 in my ink sketch series, “Homes”. Title: “Castle”. We live in a most eclectic neighborhood. Walk a few blocks north and you are amongst gorgeous old Sorority and Fraternity houses. Walk a few blocks south and you come upon the secluded, historic Kimble Castle. It was built from 1894-1904 by Judge Sam Kimble as his family home. It is solid limestone with turrets and English architecture. The grounds are amazing with statues, gazebo and mature trees. Here is my rendition of this MHK home. I was able to get a great view from the sidewalk (it is still a home and not for public access).
